JLABS 101 with Olivia McPherson
On Tuesday, February 22nd, Olivia McPherson, Program Manager of JPOD @ Philadelphia, discussed how the JPOD and Johnson & Johnson's JLABS program helps startups with life science commercialization. During the Penn Center for Innovation’s free Lunch and Learn series, participants were introduced to the JPOD’s no-strings virtual model, the application process, and its many ecosystem benefits including the JPALS program. The JPALS program is comprised of internal experts from Johnson & Johnson who provide resident companies with a forum to explore potential areas of partnership within Johnson & Johnson. JPALS also provide mentorship, coaching, and contacts to help support the growth of startups.
The JPOD @ Philadelphia is a collaboration between The University of Pennsylvania and Johnson & Johnson Innovation. They have rolling applications for life science and health tech companies from across the region who are interested in becoming virtual residents.
