We are thrilled to host Beau Wangtrakuldee at the Pennovation Center for November's Startup Grind! Startup Grind is an intimate fireside chat with entrepreneurs from our community. These chats are a great way for fellow entrepreneurs to learn from an entrepreneur's journey, best practices, and prove to be a more candid look at what entrepreneurship means. Beau is the founder & CEO of AmorSui. After 10 years of experience in drug discovery R&D, Beau found her passion in business and entrepreneurship through Penn’s PCI Ventures consulting for startup companies (who now call the Pennovation Center home!). Entrepreneurship opportunities at Penn led Beau to gain a broad understanding of the commercialization of ideas through real life interviews and market research in the PCI I-Corp program, where she served as both a participant and teaching assistant. Today, she combines her experience as a woman scientist, her entrepreneurial spirit, and her customer-focused business mindset to grow AmorSui, a business that targets a global $51B personal protective gear market and attracts high-profile partnerships with companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Birchbox.
