PCI Ventures 8th Annual Showcase [event recap]

Penn Center for Innovation Ventures (PCI Ventures) recently hosted their 8th Annual Showcase virtually, in partnership with Venture Café Philadelphia. Michael Poisel, PCI Ventures Executive Director kicked off the event by sharing a brief recap and highlights from the past year.  Afterwards, Michael announced the 2020 CEO of the Year, an award presented annually to an entrepreneur who has made significant progress with their company, reached important milestones, and best exemplifies the PCIV mission.

The 2020 PCI Ventures CEO of the year award was presented to Nader Elm, CEO of Exyn Technologies.  Following the award presentation, Nader shared an exciting presentation about Exyn's accomplishments in 2020 including creating the first-known drown-assisted brewing operation with Dock Street Brewery and partnering with the world's leader in mining automation, Sandrik.  In case you missed the presentation portion, you can find a recording of the event here

A virtual networking session rounded out the evening.  Guests were able to catch up with the PCI Ventures team, and visit virtual tables hosted by a handful of featured companies.
