PCIV Office Hours with Ruby Chandy
PCI Ventures hosts drop-in office hours Wednesdays from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Pennovation Center (Suite 229). Each week, a member of the PCI Ventures team will be on hand to answer business questions on topics ranging from company formation and legal agreements to benefits and insurance. This week's office hours are with PCI Ventures Mentor in Residence, Ruby Chandy!
Ruby Chandy is currently the CEO of Lumina Advisory Services providing consulting, panel/speaking, and advisory services to private equity and venture firms and their portfolio companies, and to C-level executives.
She was formerly President of the $1.3B Industrial Division of Pall Corporation. Prior to Pall, Ruby held general management positions at Dow Chemical, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Boston Scientific, and Millipore. She also served as Chief Marketing Officer at Dow Chemical, Rohm and Haas, and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Ruby has over 12 years of public company board experience, currently serving on the Ametek (AME), Flowserve (FLS), and DuPont (DD) boards. Ruby previously served on the Idex Corporation (IEX) Board from 2006-2013. In addition, Ruby is on the Executive Advisory Board of Gryphon Investors, a middle-market private equity firm based in San Francisco. She is a Mentor-in-Residence at the Pennovation Center. Ruby serves on the Americas Executive Board of the MIT Sloan School and was previously on the board of Unicef New England. Ruby received her Bachelors degree in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT, a Masters Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, and a Masters degree in Business from the MIT Sloan School. She resides in Philadelphia, PA with her husband and daughter.
