ULI's Grays Ferry Healthy Corridor [Event Recap]

On December 15th, the Urban Land Institute gave a culminating presentation of their Grays Ferry Healthy Corridor Study. This project brought together a panel of national experts, who, after completing an intensive three-day research and stakeholder interview process, presented their recommendations for including health within future planning processes for the Grays Ferry corridor (from Washington Avenue to Woodland Avenue, including the Grays Ferry Bridge). Goals of the project include developing and refining approaches to create commercial corridors that improve physical, social, environmental, and economic healthy for all who work, live, and travel along the corridors, as well as identifying approaches that can spur real changes in the future.
