Congratulations, Chip Diagnostics, on winning the JPOD @ Philadelphia QuickFire Challenge! The Challenge was designed with the aim to accelerate healthcare innovation and commercialization in the Philadelphia ecosystem and beyond. As the awardee of the JPOD @ Philadelphia QuickFire Challenge, Chip Diagnostics will receive a total of $30,000 in grant funding to further advance its research in minimally invasive, early cancer detection, one year residency at Pennovation at the University of Pennsylvania, and access to educational programs at JPOD @ Philadelphia and mentoring from the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies global network of experts.
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) serve as nanoscale molecular transporters, containing critical information regarding drug efficacy and disease state. Chip Diagnostics aims to enable minimally-invasive cancer diagnosis and drug efficacy prediction and monitoring by precisely tuning in to conversations happening between cells remotely using liquid biopsy techniques.
