Food for Thought with Hershey's Digital Innovation Lab [event recap]

Hershey's Digital Innovation Lab at Pennovation Works recently welcomed the Pennovation Center members for a lunch in the lab that introduced the incredible work Hershey is doing to the Pennovation community. Pete Angeline, Strategic Futurist for the Hershey Company, ran the workshop which included an overview of the AR, VR, and robotics projects that Hershey is developing, and demos of some of the technology in the lab. A particular highlight for the crowd was a visit from Pip, the interactive robot named after one section of a Hershey bar. Pennovation Center members enjoyed the peek into the future of snacking and the discussion of how emerging technologies can impact very large and established companies like Hershey.
