Celebrating AAPlasma's Growth & Expansion

AAPlasma LLC started in 2017, taking up a desk in a warehouse somewhere in Warminster, PA. With funding from NASA, Defense Logistics Agency, Environmental Protection Agency, and others, we set up our first lab in 2019 at the Pennovation incubator.

With the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic on the rise, the company responded by building OxyStrike™ Bioburden Reduction System which was licensed to manufacturing and distribution partner.. Licensing and investment triggered the need for growth and expansion. In 2021, AAPlasma hired a PhD microbiologist and a business development professional and is moving to a ~2,000 sq. ft. facility, a few blocks away from Pennovation Works.

"Our tenure at the Pennovation incubator was paramount for our growth from an idea into a functioning startup," noted AA Plasma. "We capitalized on the services that 1776 and Pennovation offer but the conversations with fellow startups all around us helped more than I could have imagined! Even though we are moving a few blocks, we will continue participating in local business events and hope to remain part of this thriving community."
